Suggestions for Afrigator on it’s 1st Birthday

Although late, this is in response to Mike Stopforth’s request for innovative suggestions for Afrigator, on it’s first birthday.

Being new to blogging and to Afrigator, I am interested in the Bloggers who are the heart and soul of the site, and where they are from in Africa. After all, Afrigator would be nothing without the contributors.

So, my suggestions are based on wanting to know:

1. Whose Blogs are being aggrevated?

I’d like to see, even filtered per country, the list of Bloggers whose content is aggregated.

2. Where are all the bloggers from?

I’d like to see a map of Africa, with an index showing how many bloggers are represented from each country.

Although the above suggestions are not necessarily innovative to a current blogger, I think it will help newbies to understand the big picture of what Afrigator represents.
